Having just been to Decorex 2024, I can honestly say that this year’s trends are all about sustainability, craftsmanship, and adding personality to spaces. It’s clear that people want homes to feel unique and thoughtful, and the designs really reflected that.
Sustainable materials were everywhere – lots of reclaimed wood, natural fabrics, and eco-friendly options that not only look beautiful but also make a positive impact. There’s definitely a shift towards creating interiors with the environment in mind.
I also noticed a strong focus on textures. From velvet to linen, everything was about layering to create that cosy, inviting feel. Mixing textures like stone, metal, and soft fabrics really brought warmth and depth to the spaces.
When it comes to colours, earthy tones are still going strong – think rich terracotta and deep forest greens. But I also saw plenty of bold jewel tones, like emerald and sapphire, which were used in a really sophisticated way, especially when paired with neutral shades for balance.

One thing that really stood out was the curved furniture – lots of soft, rounded edges in sofas and chairs, creating a gentle, welcoming vibe. And there’s a growing love for artisanal pieces – it’s all about that handmade, one-of-a-kind feel, from handcrafted furniture to unique lighting.
This year struck a perfect balance between minimalism and maximalism. There’s still a love for clean lines and uncluttered spaces, but now with the addition of bold statement pieces, vibrant accents, and carefully chosen art. It’s about adding personality without overwhelming the space.
All in all, Decorex 2024 was full of inspiration, with new ideas that really spoke to the desire for homes to feel meaningful and well-crafted.
