I’m Dr Kamila Kawai, founder of House of Kawai.
With a background in engineering and metallurgy, I bring precision, creativity and a meticulous eye for detail to every project. After retraining at KLC School of Design in London, I founded House of Kawai to create thoughtful, timeless interiors for busy professionals and families.
I specialise in residential interior design, home renovations and bespoke interiors across Warwickshire, the Cotswolds, London and beyond—creating elegant, practical homes tailored to each client’s lifestyle and taste.

“Kawai” has Japanese origins and signifies a confluence, the meeting point where rivers merge. It is also my husband’s family name and reflects my design approach: bringing together architecture, interiors and personality to create harmonious spaces.
